City of Santa Ana <br />Scope of Work <br />Name of Organization Santa Ana PRCSA <br />Name of Funded Program Project PRIDE <br />Annual Accomplishment Goal <br />I. Total number of unduplicated clients (Santa Ana and Non -Santa Ana Residents) anticipated to be served by the <br />funded pro ram, named above, during the 12-month contract period. <br />900 Persons <br />H. Number of unduplicated Santa Ana residents expected to be served by the funded program during the 12-month <br />contract period. <br />900 Persons <br />Program and Funding Description <br />III. Description of Work - In the space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12-month contract period. <br />What specific activities will be undertaken during the contract period. Please be concise in your response. Only the <br />viewable space will print. <br />Project PRIDE provides positive alternatives for youth through family and teen recreation and volunteer activities <br />and provides opportunities for family members to make meaningful contributions to their communities and helps <br />them earn respect. <br />During the grant year, Project PRIDE will coordinate Family PRIDE clubs at eight sites in Santa Ana. These sites <br />will include the Santa Ana Senior Center, Roosevelt Elementary School, Southwest Senior Center, El Salvador, <br />Salgado, Memorial, Santa Anita, and Logan Recreation Centers. A total of 900 Santa Ana residents will be <br />served. Family PRIDE Clubs will meet on Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to participate in interactive <br />recreation activities and learn the importance of family recreation activities. The Family PRIDE Clubs will <br />participate in four special events including a Family Picnic, Family Campout, Arts and Crafts Competition and <br />Christmas Dinner. <br />Parents and teens will engage in community service projects as volunteers and will complete a total of 800 hours <br />of volunteer service. Adult volunteers will assist with program fundraisers, recreation center activities and <br />community projects. The teens will assist with the development and implementation of city-wide Family PRIDE <br />Club activities and After School Recreation Center programs. <br />The Kayaking team will practice and train three times per week at the Newport Aquatics Center. The Kayaking <br />team members will participate in local, state, and national races throughout the year. <br />Schedule of Performance <br />Estimate the number of unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12-month <br />contract period per quarter. (Enter number of new Santa Ana clients served each quarter.
