2. Part -Time Contractual Forensic Services Technician: This part time contractual <br />position will be funded for two years under this grant funding. <br />3. Technology Funding: These systems will be funded for two years under this grant <br />funding. <br />Funding: <br />1. Part -Time Animal Control Officer. $1 9.71 1hour X 960 hrs /year X 2 years= $37,843.20 <br />2. Part -Time Contractual Forensic Services Technician: <br />a. $30 1hrX 960 hrs /yearX 2 years= $57,600 <br />3. Tech noloy Funding: $33,105.40 X 2 years= $66,210.80 <br />Total Allocation: $161,654 <br />PROACT Contribution: $0 <br />Administrative Fee (9.0 %): $14,549 <br />Funds Retained by City: $147,105 <br />Yorba Linda City: <br />The City of Yorba Linda proposes to use the 2009 Justice Assistance Grant funding as <br />follows: <br />Proiect Objectives (Must be linked to meaningful and measurable outcomes consistent with <br />the goals of the Recovery Act; refer to solicitation) <br />Purchase new laboratory equipment, replace wood evidence lockers, and renovate utility <br />room to maximize employee safety, efficiency, and preserve integrity of evidence. <br />Goal: <br />7. Eliminate personnel from working on improper, porous work surfaces. <br />8. Eliminate /minimize the risk of industrial injuries on duty, such as those which arise <br />from improper bending, stretching, lifting, and other stress or strain. <br />9. Meet legal and scientific standards in the proper handling and processing of <br />biological evidence. <br />10. Reduce defense challenges in court. <br />11. Better maintain chain of custody. <br />12.
