2.1.1.2 The Vendor must be certified to install SYSTIMAX telecommunications <br />cable and to provide warranty-service response. <br />2.1.1.3 The Vendor must have at least one current customer of similar size and <br />complexity and with similar equipment as that of the City. (Refer to <br />Section 1.2) <br />2.1.1.4 The Vendor must have five years of experience, within the last five <br />years, in providing telecommunications cable services as sought by the <br />City. (Refer to Section 1.4) <br />2.1.1.5 The Vendor must possess all permits, licenses and professional <br />credentials necessary to supply the products and perform services as <br />specified in this RFP. <br />2.1.1.6 Vendor's personnel must conduct themselves in a professional manner <br />when on City premises. This includes adhering to no-smoking <br />ordinances, the drug-free work place policy, not using alcoholic <br />beverages and treating City customers, employees and others <br />courteously. <br />2.1.1.7 A lead specialist installer, with a thorough understanding of the <br />ANSI/EIA/TIA standards and guidelines, must carry out the voice and <br />data system installation work outlined in this RFP. This installer also <br />must be currently certified in the Avaya Systimax product line. <br />2.1.1.8 Non-Avaya Systimax certified installers may only work on City projects <br />under the direct supervision of an Avaya Systimax certified lead installer <br />(as noted in section 2.1.1.7) and only so long as they are thoroughly <br />qualified in general Avaya Systimax installation practices. <br />2.1.1.9 The Vendor will be required to have a BICSI Registered <br />Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) available upon request <br />to assist the City in design and engineering of the City's cabling <br />infrastructure. <br />2.2 SUBMITTALS <br />Prior to finalizing an agreement with the selected Proposer, they must submit proof of active <br />status as an Avaya Value Added Reseller (VAR) and that they are certified to install cabling <br />systems per all Avaya SYSTIMAX warranty program requirements. <br />3. SERVICE-RELATED TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />3.1 WORK DOCUMENTATION <br />3.1.1 Upon request by the Telecommunications Coordinator, the Vendor must be <br />prepared to submit, following completion of a project, in electronic and paper form <br />the following items: <br />Page 6 of 34 <br />
