A summary of the bid invitations <br /> mailed, the bids received, and the bid results follows. <br /> Santa Ana Contractors receiving notices: 12 <br /> Contractors requesting bidding documents: 6 <br /> Bids received: 5 <br /> Bids received from Santa Ana Contractors: 1 <br /> NAME OF BIDDER CITY TOTAL BASE BID <br /> PLUS ADD ON <br /> ALTERNATE ONE <br /> 1. All American Asphalt Corona $1,310,298 <br /> 2. Hardy & Harper, Inc. Santa Ana $1,349,000 <br /> 3. R.J. Noble Company Orange $1,389,826 <br /> 4. Excel Paving Company Long Beach $1,485,590 <br /> 5. Elite Bobcat Service Corona $1,524,735 <br /> A total of five bids were received and all were responsive. The lowest <br /> bid was submitted by All American Asphalt, for $1,310,298, for base bid <br /> plus add-on alternate one, which is below the Engineer's estimate of <br /> $1,525,240. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the <br /> proposed project is exempt from further review. Categorical Exemption <br /> Environmental Review Nos. 2009-164 and 2010-17 will be filed for the <br /> <br /> project. In addition, a Certification of Categorical Exclusion and <br /> Statutory Worksheet have been prepared in accordance with the National <br /> Environmental Policy Act. <br /> 23A-2 <br /> <br />
