Section 421 of the Charter requires the City <br />Manager to report to the City Council quarterly on the contracts entered <br />into under his authority for informational purposes. The report is <br />required to include the names of contractors and the amounts of each <br />contract. <br />Exhibit A is a listing of all purchase orders, agreements, and change <br />notices entered into between October 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009 valued <br />at amounts between $500 and $25,000. Unless included under a blanket <br />contract, the City as a general rule does not purchase goods or services <br />valued at under $500 through either a purchase order or an agreement. <br />Purchase orders and service agreements valued at greater than $25,000 <br />require approval by the City Council. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />19D -1 <br />
