a) All sport courts shall be blown off daily. Courts and fence lines shall be <br /> completely free of dirt, debris, etc. <br /> b) AlI sport Courts shall be washed down suety other week to remove dust, gum <br /> and stains. The courts shall have water removed immediately following the <br /> washing down. <br /> c} Contractor shall replace tennis and basketball nets when they become worn. <br /> The City shall furnish nets. <br /> 14. General Maintenance and Clean-up For All Parks and Contracted Sites <br /> a) All trash and debris on the ground or in trash receptacles shall be removed from <br /> all worksites each day Monday through Sunday before 12:00 p.m. This includes <br /> all landscape areas, paved areas, street curb gutters, flood control channels, etc. <br /> b} The contractor shall rake, hand remove, or vacuum leaves that are not absorbed <br /> by planting. This shall be done as often as required to maintain a neat <br /> appearance. <br /> c) After heavy windstorms or other inclement weather that impacts sites under this <br /> agreement, the Contractor shall bring in extra staff to clean all parks areas within <br /> two (2) days at no cost to the City. Debris, such as but not limited to, litter, <br /> fallen branches, trash, limbs, branches, soil erosion, etc., shall be removed fiorn <br /> the worksites. <br /> d) The Contractor shall keep sidewalks and all other paved areas swept and free of <br /> any debris, dirt, glass, weeds, leaves, etc. at all times. <br /> e} Drain inlets shall be checked and if necessary cleaned once per day to avoid <br /> flooding of areas during inclement weather. <br /> <br /> 15. Other Requirements <br /> a) Work Not Scheduled <br /> The Director may delete a portion of or the entire work site from contractual <br /> maintenance during a construction period or any period where the Director <br /> determines that work cannot be scheduled. The deletion of this portion of work <br /> will be reflected as a reduction in the monthly payment to the Contractor. The <br /> amount of reduction will be based on the percentage of area involved and <br /> agreed upon by the City and the Contractor in writing. <br /> 1 b. Special Maintenance <br /> a) City of Santa Ana Corporation Yard -The Corporate Yard is the city's <br /> maintenance operation center. In addition to the standard Grounds-Landscape <br /> Specification the following special maintenance shall be performed. <br /> (1) All trash receptacles shall be emptied daily five (5) days per week <br /> and replaced with new trash liners. The Contractor shall install trash <br /> liners so as not to be seen on the exterior of the receptacles. The <br /> Contractor shall be responsible for replacing missing trash receptacle <br /> 25C-108 <br /> <br />
