Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction cost of $312,000. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Civic Center Law Library Fountains, also known as Fountains Numbers 1 and 3, have not <br />been working for several years due to deterioration and maintenance problems (Exhibit 1). The <br />Plaza of the Fountains renovation project includes addressing cracks and leakage in the <br />fountains, providing a new spray center jet and lighting, and replacing the electrical and plumbing <br />systems. Once completed, the improvements will increase the aesthetic quality of the fountains <br />and the surrounding civic center area. <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on December 23 and 28, 2009, and bids were opened on <br />January 19, 2010.
