Revised
Mr. Kenny Nguyen
HZ Project No. 10- 1378 -01
February 26, 2010
Page 2
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
1.1 TRAFFIC REPORT:
Additional Traffic Analysis:
Conduct additional traffic analysis for 2015 Construction Year Alton Avenue
Overcrossing and HOV Drop Ramp conditions. The analysis will include:
• Study Intersection Analysis
• Freeway Weaving Analysis
• Freeway Mainline Analysis
• HOV Lane Ingress and Egress Analysis
Revise Report:
Revise the Traffic Report in accordance with comments received from Caltrans'
environmental division. Additional comments from Caltrans' traffic operations
division are also anticipated and need to be addressed.
Meetinzs•
Attend three additional meetings.
1.2 CULTURAL RESOURCES:
The ICF Jones & Stokes scope of work for the Alton Avenue Overcrossing project
assumed that a field reconnaissance of the structures located along the project route
would be conducted to confirm that no resources are present that were not eligible at the
time that the Historic Property Survey Report (HPSR) was prepared. It was further
assumed that the findings of the above evaluations would be negative. Based on the field
work conducted, detailed records research, historical information, and property records
evaluations, and based on direction received at a meeting with Caltrans on November 10,
2009, it was identified that there are up to twenty (20) properties that are not exempt
under the Section 106 Programmatic Amendment and will require evaluation within the
Area of Potential Effect (APE) that was defined for the original project. If additional
properties are identified that would require evaluation, this will be communicated
immediately to Huitt- Zollars and the City. Based on the preliminary work done to date,
however, it is assumed that additional evaluations will not be required beyond the twenty
(20) included in this scope.
