Specifications for the <br />Police Administration Building <br />& Holding Facility <br />MINIMUM TIME ON JOB SITE <br />Contractor shall furnish a qualified elevator mechanic on the job site for performance of <br />examinations and preventive maintenance. Said elevator mechanic shall provide <br />preventive maintenance at the job site a minimum of 2 hours per unit per inspection. <br />PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE HOURS — MECHANIC'S CHECK -IN <br />Contractor's mechanic shall check into the manager's or maintenance office when he <br />arrives and when he leaves the building. Copies of mechanic's time tickets, verifying <br />time spent each visit, shall be left with building manager or maintenance supervisor. <br />QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTOR <br />The Contractor must show he has ample previous experience maintaining comparable <br />equipment to be able to provide the necessary preventive maintenance to maintain the <br />Elevator and Dumbwaiter equipment in first class condition. At least two (2) mechanics <br />shall have previous experience (OEM Standard) with computer logic equipment. Specify <br />name(s) of primary route mechanic(s) for this project, along with brief resume. The <br />Contractor must have been successfully engaged in his business of such work and <br />licensed as applicable for the regulatory authority of the geographical area within which <br />the work will be performed for a period of not less than five (5) consecutive years <br />personal experience in supervising maintenance crews. <br />SECURITY SYSTEM <br />Attention must be given to the qualifications of the elevator companies' personnel and <br />their abilities to work on and around the special security features incorporated into <br />elevators H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, and H6 respectfully. <br />They have to comprehend the various sequences of security operation which can be <br />dictated to the above referenced elevators from the Security Control Panel (SCP). This <br />panel can override all elevator operations, set modes, control car calls, hall calls, and door <br />operation. Knowledge of all interfacing with the touch screen override system is essential <br />to the integrity of the holding facility. <br />The Contractor must also provide with this bid their most recent standard financial <br />statement or Dunn & Bradstreet report indicating the company's current Net Worth, <br />D & B Rating, and Working Capital Position. <br />8 of 29 <br />
