While cleaning the existing planter cast iron drains several pipes were <br />discovered to be cracked and in need of replacement. There for it was <br />recommended to replace the cracked cast iron pipes. <br />Agreed Price = $1 ,465.00 <br />3. During the submittal review of the planter wall caps it was determined that <br />the wall caps were undersized for the existing wall widths and needed to <br />be increased in size by 1-1/2 inches to provide a '/?" overhang. Therefore it <br />was recommended to increase the size of the wall caps. <br />Agreed Price = $1,935.00 <br />4. After removing the dirt from the central planter it was discovered that the <br />northwest corner was cracked and could not be waterproofed in that <br />condition. Therefore it was recommended to repair the northwest corner of <br />the central planter. <br />Agreed Price = $1,024.00 <br />5. Parks Department requested to have clean outs installed at each planter <br />drain location to provide easy access for maintenance. <br />Agreed Price = $3,190.00 <br />6. After removing the dirt from the west planter it was discovered that the <br />planter did not have an existing drain- Therefore it was recommended to <br />install a new drain. <br />Agreed Price = $209.00 <br />7.
