City of Santa Ana <br />Proposal for the Bender Ready -Mix Concrete Manufacturing Project <br />Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration <br />j,,dacaat%" <br />The Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Checklist will serve as the foundation of the Mitigation <br />Monitoring and Reporting Program for the proposed Project. The Checklist indicates the mitigation <br />measure number as outlined in the Initial Study, the Initial Study reference page (where the measure <br />is documented), a list of Mitigation Measure/Conditions of Approval (in chronological order under the <br />appropriate topic), the Monitoring Milestone (at what agency/department responsible for verifying <br />implementation of the measure), Method of Verification (documentation, field checks, etc.), and a <br />verification section for the initials of the verifying individual date of verification, and pertinent <br />remarks. <br />8.0 FINAL INITIAL STUDY <br />RBF will prepare a draft final document for City review and approval. RBF will respond to City <br />comments on the draft final document. The final document will be prepared as a companion <br />document to the Public Review Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration. The final document will <br />include a purpose subsection, reference the review process, comments received, responses and <br />any required edits/updates to the document. <br />Task 8.0 Deliverables: <br />• Five (5) copies of Final Initial Study <br />• One (1) Camera -Ready Original of Final Initial Study <br />• One (1) CD with electronic PDF version of Final Initial Study, Graphics, and Technical <br />Appendices <br />• One (1) CD of Final Initial Study, Graphics and Technical Appendices in Microsoft Word. <br />9.0 CEQA NOTICES <br />RBF will be responsible for the preparation of CEQA notices (Notice of Availability/Notice of Intent <br />(refer to Deliverables Task 5.0), Negative Declaration, and Notice of Determination). RBF will <br />prepare the agency distribution lists. RBF has assumed that City Staff will be responsible for public <br />noticing to comply with City requirements, such as posting notices or newspaper notices. RBF will <br />circulate notices to designated reviewing agencies. <br />Task 9.0 Deliverables: <br />• Negative Declaration <br />• Notice of Determination <br />10.0 COORDINATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW AND <br />MEETING ATTENDANCE <br />RBF anticipates several meetings with City Staff, including progress meeting and public hearings. <br />Mr. Lajoie, AICP, and Ms. Rita Garcia along with other key project team personnel, will also be <br />available to attend meetings with affected jurisdictions, agencies, and organizations as needed to <br />identify issues and assess impacts. RBF assumes that City Staff will arrange the public meetings <br />and provide appropriate materials.
