Irt cor~pliance v~rith the California Er~vironn~ental Cuality Act {CE~A} <br /> Public Resources Code e~ eq.~ and Title Il!} California Code of <br /> Regulations, Section e~. e~~ ~CEA uidelines~, the City of Santa <br /> Ana has prepared an Environmental Impact Report HEIR} to analyze the <br /> environmental impacts of the Transit ~or~ing Code LSD No. ~4} and the <br /> redevelopment of parcels o~uned by the Santa Ana Redevelopment <br /> Agency ~Aency~ in the Station District, vuhich v~ould be developed uwrith a <br /> r~aximum of 2~0 residential units by the Agency and the Related <br /> Companies of California, LLC ar~d griffin Realty Corporation, a California <br /> Corporation the Developer Project}. <br /> B. In compliance Frith CEC~A and CE~A guidelines Sections ~0~3 and <br /> ~~oH~, the City prepared an initial Study and Notice of Preparation ~N~P} <br /> of a Draft EIR, v~rhich vas distributed to the office of Planning and <br /> Research, all responsible and trustee agencies, and other interested <br /> parties on July ~D, ~go~, <br /> C. The City held public scoping meetings on the graft EIR on August <br /> 2gQ at the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center. <br /> D, In compliance pith CEQA and CE~A guidelines Section ~ ~08~, the City <br /> provided public notice of the availability of the graft ElR and sent a notice <br /> of completion to the office of Planning and Research on February ~0~~, <br /> ~rhich began a ~-day public revie period. <br /> E~ Prior to the close of the public connr~ent period and in response to <br /> can~r~ents received during that periad, the City amended Draft EIR to <br /> evaluate three additional alternatives to the proposed geveloper Project <br /> and recirculated a portion of the EIR, including the analysis of ail <br /> alternatives ~EIRk Chapter .g, Alternatives} and a financial analysis of the <br /> Reso~ut~or~ #~o. 20~~- <br /> <br />
