C ITY A TTORNEY’S O FFICE <br />D EPARTMENT P ROGRAMS <br />Administration <br />Operations, budget, technology, training and development, <br />human resources and systems management <br />Transactional <br />Provides both advisory and transactional services to all City <br />departments. Staffing for certain Boards and Commissions. <br />Prepares agreements, resolutions and ordinances. Provides legal <br />advice to all City departments and special litigation services <br />including CEQA, elections matters, and eminent domain. <br />Litigation/Enforcement <br />Provides a wide range of legal services to the Police Department, <br />Risk Management and Code Enforcement. Manages all of the <br />SAMC prosecutions and civil litigation for the City. Oversees <br />receivership and nusiance abatement actions. <br />Police Advisory <br />Provides legal support and advice to the Senior Management <br />Team. Manages outside police litigation matters. Provides legal <br />advice regarding public records, subpoenas, criminal discovery, <br />and department policies/procedures. <br />Rent Stabilization <br />To provide programs and services to people of all ages, including <br />access to quality electronic resources and print materials through <br />efficient use of technological advances, training, processing, and <br />lending procedures. <br /> <br /> <br />
