See the Cyber Resource Hub <br />for additional information. <br />7.9.Emergency Management Accreditation Program <br />States can encourage their local jurisdictions to pursue assessment and accreditation under the <br />Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP). EMAP’s assessment and accreditation of <br />emergency management organizations against consensus-based, American National Standards <br />Institute (ANSI)-certified standards allows for standardized benchmarking of critical functions <br />necessary for an emergency management organization to meet the core capabilities identified in the <br />Goal.
