There are other ways to protest - use our spending power - stop shopping Amazon, Tesla, Walmart, Goya, McDonalds and the list goes. I was old enough to remember that when Cesar Chavez was protesting for the campesinos he told us not to buy grapes - and we didn't. And he won. I have to ask myself why did we ever agree to make Santa Ana a sanctuary city?
