<br />The undersigned consu ltant or corporate officer, during the performance of this contract, certifies
<br />as follows:
<br />1. The Consu ltant shall not discriminate against any emp l oyee or applicant for emp l oyment
<br />beca use of race, co l or , re ligion, sex, or nationa l origin. The Consultant shall take affirmative
<br />action to ensure that applicants are employed, and th at emp loyees are treated during
<br />empl oyment without, regard to their race , co l or, re ligion, sex, or national origin . Such action
<br />sha ll in cl ude , but not be limited to, the fo ll owing: employment, upgrading , demotion, or
<br />transfer; recruitment or recruitment advertising; layoff or termination ; rates of pay or other
<br />forms of compensation; and selection for training , including apprenticeship. The Consu ltant
<br />agrees to post in consp i cuous places , avai lab le to employees and app licants fo r empl oyment,
<br />notices to be provided setting forth the provisions of this nondiscrimination cl ause.
<br />2. The Consu ltant shall, in all so li citations or advertisements for emp l oyees pl aced by or on
<br />beha lf of the Consu ltant , state that all qual ified app licants will receive consideration for
<br />empl oyment without regard to race , col or , re li gion , sex , or national origin.
<br />3. The Consu ltant shall send to eac h labor union or repres entative of workers with which he/she
<br />has a collective bargaining agreement or other contract or understanding , a notice to be
<br />provided advising the said labor union or workers ' representatives of the Consu ltant's
<br />commitments under this section, and shall post copies of the notice in conspicuous places
<br />avai l ab le to emp l oyees and app licants for emp loyment.
<br />4. The Consul tant shall comp ly with all provisions of Executive Order 11246 of September 24 .
<br />1965 , and of the ru les, regu lations, and re levant orders of the Secretary of Labor.
<br />5. Tl1e Consu ltan t shall furnis h all information and reports required by Executive Order 11 246 of
<br />September 24, 1965, and by ru les. reg ulations , and orders of the Secretary of Labor, or
<br />pursuant thereto. and will permit access to his/her books, records , and accounts by the
<br />administering ag e ncy and the Secretary of Labor for purposes of investigation, to ascertain
<br />compliance with such ru les, regu lations, and orders .
<br />1. In the event of the Consu ltant's non-comp lian ce with the nondiscrimination cl auses of this
<br />contract or with any of the said ru les, regu l ations . or orders, the contract may be cancel ed ,
<br />te rminated , or suspended in who le or in part and the Consu ltant may be de cl ared ine ligible
<br />for further Government contracts or federally assisted construction contracts in accordance
<br />with procedure s authorized in Execution Order 11246 of September 24, 1965, and such other
<br />sanctions may be imposed and remed ies invoked as provided in Exec utiv e Order 11 246 of
<br />September 24 , 1965, or by ru le. regu lations , or order of the Secretary of Labor. or as otherwise
<br />provided by law.
<br />2. The Consu l tant sha ll includ e the portion of the sentence immediately preceding paragraph ( 1)
<br />and the provisions of paragraphs ( 1) through (7) in every subcontract or purchase order un less
<br />exempted by ru les, reg ulations , or orders of the Sec retary of Labor issued pursuant to Section
<br />204 of Executive Order 11246 of Sep tember 24, 1965, so that such provisions will be binding
<br />upon each subcontract
