include juvenile justice and child welfare; 3) labor and/or sexually trafficked or exploited youth; 4) yo uth in <br />need of substance abuse and mental health services; and 5) other vulnerable populations (e.g., tribal youth, <br />LGBTQIA2S+, foster youth and youth with disabilities). <br />SUFK OC employs 14 staff, all located in the Costa Mesa, CA office. We employ 100+ trai ned volunteers in <br />Orange County that serve as mentors and tutors and support SUFK OC programs and operations. The <br />volunteer workforce provided 7 ,000 hours of service in 2024 which helps ensure we keep our costs low. <br />All SUFK OC staff and volunteers are trained in trauma informed care, positive youth development, crisis <br />management, behavior management, harm reduction, coping techniques, cultural awareness , diversity, <br />inclusion, and mandatory reporting. In addition, we maintain an extensive network of referral agencies, <br />housing providers, job training partners and community service providers, to ensure each client receives <br />comprehensive wrap-around support. <br />SUFK OC staff have over 55 years combined experience serv in g at-risk and homeless youth in Orange <br />County. The staff w ho will oversee the SA YSP WIOA program include: <br />a) Ju stine Palmore, Executive Director (B.S., 19 years with SUFK OC) <br />b) Elle Martinez, Payroll Supervisor, Emp loyment Naviga to r (B.A., 5 years) <br />c) Nancy Roque, Case Manager, (B.S., 1 year) <br />d) Samuel Ka lei, Compliance Manager (B.A. equiv., 1 year) <br />Elle Martinez will be the Project Manager assigned to this agreement. Elle w ill be th e primary contact <br />person to represent StandUp for Kids OC and will be the person to conduct the presentation, if in v ited to an <br />interview.
