EHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br />Sapphos Environmental, Inc. understands that the City of Santa Ana requires the services of an <br />environmental consulting firm to create Historic American Buildings Survey (HAWS)-like, <br />documentation for 20 properties targeted for redevelopment as part of the Station District. <br />Four properties have been prioritized for documentation (Task 2, below): <br />• 611 North Minter Street <br />• 609 East Sixth Street <br />• 613 East Sixth Street <br />• 617 East Sixth Street <br />Sixteen properties will be documented in a subsequent phase (Task 3, below): <br />• 610-612 East Fifth Street • 712 East Fifth Street <br />• 620 East Fifth Street <br />• 505 North Minter Street <br />• 507 North Minter Street <br />• 601-603 East Fiftlr Sheet <br />• 621 East Fifth Street <br />• 508-510 North Porter Sheet <br />• 615 East Fifth Sheet <br />• 710 East Sixth Street <br />• 720 East Sixth Street <br />• 505 East Fifth Street <br />• 501 East Fifth Street <br />• 507 North Mortimer Street <br />• 801 Santa Ana Boulevard <br />• 707 North Garfield Srieet <br />The documentation is required as mitigation by City of Santa Ana Transit Zoning Code (SD 84A <br />and SD 84B) Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for development activities that would <br />demolish or other physically affect historical resources, as defined by the California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The following work will ensure compliance with mitigation <br />measure 4.4-3. <br />TASK I- PROJECT INITIATION AND COORDINATION <br />Work Efforts <br />Upon receipt of notice to proceed, Sapphos Environmental, Inc. shall initiate a brief project <br />initiation meeting teleconference. The purpose of the meeting will be to confirm project <br />schedule, discuss notification of residents, arrange access to the fout• properties, and review data <br />requirements. Under this task, Sapphos Environmental, Inc. will provide the City of Santa Ana <br />with weekly status a-mails and up to three (3) monthly status reports between August and <br />October 2010. The weekly status a-mails will identify work efforts completed during the <br />reporting period and scheduled work and data needs for the upcoming week. The monthly status <br />reports will accompany the monthly invoice, which will define completed and upcoming work <br />efforts and any significant issues and action items related to the cultural resources work efforts. <br />3-10 <br />
