CITY COUNCIL 18 JUNE 17, 2025 <br />61. Amalia Mejia thanked Councilmember Lopez, Councilmember Phan, <br />Councilmember Hernandez, and Mayor Pro Tem Vazquez for being present at the <br />protests. She spoke regarding resident sentiments, protests, the city’s current <br />climate related to ICE raids, and the Santa Ana Police Department’s involvement <br />during protests. <br />62. Wade Gracia thanked staff members who have been standing alongside the <br />community in solidarity and spoke regarding the Santa Ana Police Department’s <br />involvement during protests and the city’s current climate related to ICE raids. <br />63. Maria Berumen spoke regarding resident sentiments and the city’s current climate <br />related to ICE raids. <br />64. Salvador Bria spoke regarding resident sentiments, protests, the city’s current <br />climate related to ICE raids, and the Santa Ana Police Department’s involvement <br />during protests. <br />65.
