Ready (IC <br />Orange Counry's emergency preparedness resource <br />TASK 6-13: CONTENT & MESSAGING DEVELOPMENT W 251 <br />Objective: Develop and produce integrated content and messaging for the Natural <br />Disaster Preparedness micro -campaign that reflects ReadyOC's focus on emergency <br />readiness and SafeOC's ROC public safety messaging. Content will support public <br />education efforts related to earthquakes, wildfires, and other natural disasters, while <br />also promoting community vigilance and threat awareness. <br />Task Description: <br />Create campaign assets and messaging frameworks for use across digital, print, and <br />community platforms. Content will be tailored to diverse Orange County audiences <br />and blend practical disaster preparedness guidance with reminders to stay alert and <br />report suspicious activity. Messaging will be accessible, action -oriented, and reflective <br />of the combined goals of ReadyOC and SafeOC. <br />Responsibilities: <br />Comm LAB shall: <br />a. Create a strategy to appeal to the selected demographics and geographic <br />targeted areas. <br />b. Begin to execute strategy in accordance with the approved plan. <br />c. Provide messaging options and taglines for marketing/advertising. <br />Santa Ana shall: <br />a. Provide feedback and input on messaging and outreach strategies. <br />b. Approve messaging and outreach strategy for execution. <br />Completion Criteria: <br />This task is considered complete upon the completion of the deliverables detailed in <br />the task description above and when the Santa Ana Project Manager signs the task <br />completion letter. Planned completion and invoicing will be at the end of Sept. 2025. <br />TASK 6-C: PUBLIC AWARENESS & OUTREACH (Q4 2025) <br />Objective: Increase public awareness by implementing a coordinated outreach <br />strategy that blends ReadyOC's emergency preparedness and SafeOC's messaging. <br />The goal is to encourage actionable preparedness behaviors and promote community <br />vigilance across Orange County. <br />Task Description: <br />Lead outreach efforts to distribute campaign messaging through digital, print, and in - <br />person channels, increasing visibility and engagement with the combined ReadyOC <br />and SafeOC content. This task will focus on broad public education and engagement, <br />including social media campaigns, localized outreach, and participation in community <br />events. <br />Responsibilities: <br />Comm LAB shall: <br />a.
