Use caution when opening attachments or links. <br />Dear Planning Commissioners and CommiƩee, <br /> <br />I want to thank you for the Ɵme you provided last evening for hearing the <br />comments from the various parƟcipants. As a business and building <br />owner, I am extremely concerned about the proposals impact on our <br />business, employees and the value of our building. I agree with the <br />statement that was made last night about the fact that this proposal is <br />taking a “sledge hammer” vs. using a scalpel to address the businesses <br />that may be out of compliance. <br /> <br />It appears that there are 3‐4 companies that may be out of compliance, <br />however that is not ALL of the businesses who operate within the <br />regulatory bounds every day. Why is it that those businesses are not <br />being addressed versus aƩacking all of the businesses in this area? We <br />have invested in our businesses and properƟes, pay taxes, employ people <br />but yet it is being proposed to change our zoning, potenƟally force us to <br />leave and our building has already been devalued. <br /> <br />The devaluaƟon of our building took place the day the moratorium was <br />put in place. Should we want to lease our building, the moratorium has <br />made it virtually impossible to lease it as a business license will not be <br />issued. There are buildings on Fuller street that have already <br />experienced this. As a maƩer of fact, one building could not find a   <br />Planning Commission 1 – 185 3/6/2025 <br />
