COMMISSION MEMBER COMMENTS <br />Student Member En !er <br />Inquired about the empty lot on Bristol near the 99¢ Store on First Stree#. <br />Commissioner Stroud stated that it had been acquired by the City as part <br />of the Bristol Widening Project. <br />Commissioner Jauregui <br />Mentioned that due to a death in the family she had not been able to <br />attend the Charette meetings. Mrs. Whitaker mentioned that a summary <br />will be provided by the consultant in the near future. <br />Commissioner Macres <br />( . Mentioned that he was not able to attend the Charette meetings. <br />in#ormed everyone that a tour of the Downtown is scheduled on the <br />afternoon of June 3, He will be participating along with Tim Rush of <br />Wilshire Square. There is a small fee for the tour. <br />• Mentioned a new book of postcards depicting Santa Ana in the 1800s. <br />Mentioned the web site organized by Paul Giles regarding neighborhoods <br />called Santa Ana Citizens. <br />• Mentioned the upcoming bus tour scheduled for the Commission. <br />Commissioner Welt <br />Welcomed new student member Andrew Engler to the Commission. <br />Expressed her concerns about the outreach methods used for the Charette <br />meetings. <br />Asked for clarification on the new city logo and mottos.
