1. Authorize the Executive Director of the Housing Authority to <br />execute a cooperative agreement between the City of Santa Ana <br />and the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana in the amount <br />of $425,000 for aone-year term for the implementation of the <br />Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program, subject to non- <br />substantive changes approved by the Executive Director and <br />Authority General Counsel. <br />2. Authorize the Executive Director of the Housing Authority to <br />execute a cooperative agreement with AIDS Service Foundation <br />Orange County in an amount not to exceed $12,000 for aone-year <br />term to administer the wait list for the Tenant-Based Rental <br />Assis#ance Program, subject to non-substantive changes <br />approved by the Executive Director and Authority General <br />Counsel. <br />MOTION: Villasef"ior SECOND: Reyna <br />VOTE: AYES: Bist, Reyna, Stroud, Vasquez, Verino, <br />Villasenor (6} <br />NOES: None (0} <br />ABSTAIN: None (0} <br />ABSENT: None (d} <br />Chairperson Vasquez disclosed that she had contacted Alexis McCoy of the Public Law <br />Center, asked if sire was aware of the HOPWA program and invited her to this meeting. <br />Ms. McCoy, in turn, contacted the director of AIDS Services Foundation, learned that the <br />director was aware of the HOPWA program and received positive feedback. This <br />information was then reported back to Chairperson Vasquez. <br />MISCELLANEOUS ADMINISTRATION <br />6. HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION UPDATE -- Commissioner Stroud <br />Commissioner Stroud's written report from the May 1 meeting noted; <br />• that a study session on the Code of Ethics and Conduct was <br />conducted by the City Attorney's office; <br />• that the Historic Resources Commission voted to approve and <br />categorize four homes as contributive; <br />• that the application to place a Greenleaf Street home on the Santa <br />Ana Register of Historical Properties was denied and continued for <br />consideration at the June meeting. <br />CRMC MINUTES 5 May 20, 2008 <br />
