ARTICLE XI <br /> 11.0 EMPLOYEE INSURANCE <br /> 11.1 Health Insurance. The City shall contribute an allowance towards the employee's Cafeteria <br /> Benefit plan for health insurance premiums for eligible employees and their qualified <br /> dependents under The Public Employees' Medical&Hospital Care Act(PEMHCA)which <br /> governs the California Public Employees' Retirement System(CalPERS)Health Insurance <br /> Programs pursuant to the provisions below. <br /> A. Effective January 1, 2025, the City will provide a monthly contribution to health <br /> insurance premiums at the following rates: <br /> • Employee Only $1,004.00 <br /> • Employee +l $1,657.00 <br /> • Employee +Family $2,050.00 <br /> B. Effective January 1, 2026, the City will provide a monthly contribution to health <br /> insurance premiums at the following rates: <br /> • Employee Only $1,054.00 <br /> • Employee +1 $1,807.00 <br /> • Employee +Family $2,200.00 <br /> C. Effective January 1, 2027, the City will provide a monthly contribution to health <br /> insurance premiums at the following rates: <br /> • Employee Only $1,104.00 <br /> • Employee +1 $1,957.00 <br /> • Employee +Family $2,350.00 <br /> D. Effective January 1, 2028, the City will provide a monthly contribution to health <br /> insurance premiums at the following rates: <br /> • Employee Only $1,154.00 <br /> • Employee +1 $2,107.00 <br /> • Employee +Family $2,500.00 <br /> The above amounts are inclusive of the Ca1PERS statutory minimum amount which <br /> Ca1PERS determines and publishes each year. <br /> E. Any contribution necessary to maintain benefits under any health insurance <br /> program provided by the City for its employees and their eligible dependents in <br />
