On July 19, 2023,MORENO received an email from the FBINA which stated, in part: 12 "FBI Los Angeles Executive Management is requesting that all waltlisted candidates submit a resume and a letter of recommendation from their Chief or Sheriff to better evaluate all of 13 the National Academy candidates for selection. 14 Your resume and letter of recommendation will be due by close of business on Friday 15 August 18,2023.Any candidates who did not submit a resume and letter of recommendation 16 will be removed from the FBI Los Angeles National Academy waitlist.
