EXHIBIT 1 <br />AP-60 Public Housing — 91.220(h) <br />Introduction <br />SAHA is a Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) only entity. It administers tenant- and project -based and <br />special purpose vouchers. There are 10 project -based voucher sites. Special purpose vouchers include <br />Mainstream Five -Year (MSS) and Veteran Affairs Supportive Housing. Additionally, SAHA administers <br />Foster Youth to Independence and Emergency Housing Vouchers. SAHA's mission is to "provide <br />affordable housing for the most vulnerable members of our community to use as a platform to obtain <br />self-sufficiency and independence from our assistance." <br />Actions planned during the next year to address the needs to public housing <br />SAHA administers the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program which ensures low-income families have <br />access to stable and affordable housing. <br />Actions to encourage public housing residents to become more involved in management and <br />participate in homeownership <br />The SAHA administers the FSS program. This is a voulntary program available to families in recipet of a <br />HCV program to households become economic independent through financial literacy.
