S.anta Ana PD 2015-06456: Supplemental Report by #2564 Page 2 of 3 <br />Contact Info: <br /> <br /> <br />Business: ( <br />Narrative: <br />Monday, 04/06/15, 1015 hours: <br />On the above date and time, OCDA Investigator R. Smith and I interviewed Santa Ana Police Officer <br />David Garcia #3231, at the Santa Ana Police Department. Also present in the interview was Attorney <br />Corey Glave. The interview was conducted on the third floor of the Police Department Internal Affairs <br />Office. This is a summary of the interview. For further details refer to OCDA report and audio <br />recording for details under Case #15-005. <br />Officer D. Garcia has been a police officer for approximately 5 years and is currently assigned to <br />Directed Patrol Special Enforcement Team. On the date of March 11, 2015 the day of the OIS, he was <br />working in a marked Santa Ana Police Department vehicle wearing jeans and a polo shirt as his Santa <br />Ana Police Department uniform. Officer Garcia was carrying a 40 caliber Glock handgun with a <br />mounted light. <br />Officer D. Garcia was riding in a two man unit with his partner Officer Nicole Quijas. Officer N. Quijas <br />was the driver and he was the passenger. At the time of the incident Officer D. Garcia fired one rorind. <br />At this time Investigator R. Smith showed Officer D. Garcia a picture of the scene in order to point out <br />the police vehicle he was riding in at the time of the incident. The following is a surnrnary of the <br />incident. <br />Officer D. Garcia told us they were in the area of Grand Avenue and 17'h Street when the call came out <br />of shots fired and they were requesting units to respond. Officer D.
