Santa Aria PD 2015-06456: Supplemental Report by #2770 Page 4 of 4 <br />object, he told us that he did not. <br />After turning in a counter-clockwise rotation, Osorio faced the officers behind him. <br /> also negated any notion that he heard Osorio speaking to the officers he faced <br />at this time nor hearing/seeing Osorio fire his weapon at the officers present. After <br />approximately thirty (30) seconds, heard the sound of shooting, after which <br />Osorio fell to the ground. When asked to approximate the number of shots fired by the <br />officers, stated that he heard three (3). After the shooting, the officers on scene <br />approached Osorio, removed the weapon from his hand/possession, and rolled him over. <br />Soon after this activity, the paramedics arrived and treated Osorio on scene. During this <br />time period, did not see Osorio moving of his own free will. returned <br />to the rear of the business in order to secure the door(s) and then went about his normal <br />routine. <br />When asked by whom he was initially advised of the police activity, responded <br />by identifying " By mention of this name, I understood him to be speaking of <br /> We also asked if he heard the police officers making any <br />cornrnands prior to the shooting. In response, he told us that he did not hear any. The <br />only commands he heard in regard to the incident were those made by the officers, prior <br />to the shooting, and directed at the congregating citizenry as an advisement to clear the <br />area. denied knowing Osorio nor having ever seen him, nor his vehicle, in the <br />past. <br />At the conclusion of our interview, was asked for his opinion in regard to the <br />probable outcome of the incident had the officers not fired upon Osorio. In response, he <br />told us that if he was in theposition of theo.fficersand been forced to make a <br />decision as they were, the outcome would have been the same. He also told us that, in his <br />opinion, the officers acted 100% properly. <br />At approximately 1635 hours, we concluded our interview with <br />Detective M.
