Do you recall who that was or the call sign of that <br />officer who said-, uh, indicated over the radio that he had the suspect <br />vehicle? <br />ENRIQUEZ: I believe it was BERLANGER (SIC) I cannot be entirely confident about <br />that. I do know he was there, I do know I walked up with him to the <br />truck. <br />SMITH: Um, okay. <br />ENRIQUEZ: I’ll say 95 percent it was him (SOUND OF RUSTLING PAPER). <br />SMITH: Okay. (BACKGROUND NOISES). Um, when you got out to the unit 64 <br />and, um, you heard it announced that he has a gun, do you recall who <br />that was? Or was there multiple people that had said that? <br />ENRIQUEZ: One or two people at least. I cannot…I, um, I can't be sure of who said it. <br />SMITH: Okay. Um, when that it-, announcement came out, the initial amst-, <br />announcement that he was armed with a gun, did you observe it at that <br />time? <br />ENRIQUEZ: Yes. I did. <br />SMITH: And that’s when you were at, um, this unit 64? <br />ENRIQUEZ: That’s correct. <br />SMITH: And when you were at that unit were you at the passenger side door? Or <br />were you at the rear of the vehicle? <br />ENRIQUEZ: Passenger side door with it open.
