In my (CLEARS THROAT) Santa Ana Police uniform with, um, <br />identifying, um, patches on both sides of the shoulder (BACKGROUND <br />NOISES). <br />SMITH: Okay. And, um, you were processed that day by myself as far as going <br />through what they call like a round count and your weapon was, <br />um…taken as evidence that day? <br />ENRIQUEZ: That’s correct. You were there. <br />SMITH: Okay. (SOUND OF RUSTLING PAPER). I can't recall, did you have a <br />backup weapon? <br />ENRIQUEZ: Yes, I did. <br />SMITH: And did we take that for evidence? Or we did not? <br />ENRIQUEZ: You did not. <br />SMITH: Okay. Uh, what patrol unit were you driving that day? <br />ENRIQUEZ: Uh, unit 879. <br />SMITH: And your call sign that day? <br />ENRIQUEZ: 154. (THUNKING SOUND). <br />SMITH: Uh, was that a one officer or two officer unit? <br />ENRIQUEZ: A one officer unit. <br />SMITH: Um…were there any additional weapons in the vehicle department <br />issued like shotgun or anything like that? Long rifle?
