Um, does your unit, uh, 879 is it equipped with a…like a mobile <br />video system, patrol video, anything like that? <br />ENRIQUEZ: No, it is not. <br />SMITH: Okay. Um, do you carry or are you issued any type of recording device <br />from you police department? A digital recorder of any sort? <br />ENRIQUEZ: I do not carry, and I am not issued one. <br />SMITH: Okay. (SOUND OF RUSTLING PAPER). Do you recall the approximate <br />time, um, of this call? <br />ENRIQUEZ: Approximately…12:00 noon. Approximately. <br />SMITH: Okay. Um…do you remember what the original call type was? <br />ENRIQUEZ: Ye,s I do. <br />SMITH: Can you tell me what that was? <br />ENRIQUEZ: At the time I received the call it was an assault with a deadly weapon <br />with shots fired, with the suspect havin’ a handgun shooting at a victim. <br />SMITH: Okay. Um, and was that call, uh, given to you over your computer, over <br />the air, or both? <br />ENRIQUEZ: Initially I heard the call, and then it came through the computer. So both. <br />SMITH: Okay. And were you, um, directed to the call, uh, I should say dispatched <br />to that call? Or did you self-initiate to the call after hearing it? <br />ENRIQUEZ: I was dispatched to the call.
