Uh, when you drove by did you see anybody else in the vehicle? <br />SHIFFLETT: No, sir. <br />SMITH: Was there any indication over the radio of, of anybody inside the vehicle <br />with him? <br />SHIFFLETT: Uh, no sir. <br />SMITH: Was there any, uh, radio traffic when the call first came out of, of any <br />either victims hit by gunfire and or hostages or anything like that? <br />SHIFFLETT: Um, I think…I’m not sure if it went out over the radio, uh, I think that was <br />still kinda of a question if anyone was hit, um, at the original scene where <br />the call came. Um, I think I, by the time I got in to this area I was so <br />focused on the, on the, on the vehicle I think and then there was no other <br />radio traffic coming out just because this was, this had the radio tied up <br />so I don’t remember if they said if anyone was hit or not. <br />SMITH: Okay. Uh, when you were actually getting out and you retrieved your, uh, <br />your rifle did you say the rifle you keep that in your trunk? <br />SHIFFLETT: Yes, sir.
