<br />2125 hours: <br />I checked out of the scene with Santa Ana Police Department Patrol Officer Carrillo, the designated scene scribe. <br />I returned to the Santa Ana Police Department and downloaded all dispatch transmission regarding this investigation <br />into Evidence.com. <br />This concluded my actions for the investigation of this case on this date. <br />Det. Capacete #2998 <br />CAP/Homicide <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Author: Capacete, Justo 2998 BWC NOT Activated <br />Narrative: Narrative <br />Notification: <br />On Sunday, December 1, 2024, Corporal Miller (#3410) and I were working uniformed patrol, driving a marked black- <br />and-white Santa Ana Police vehicle. At approximately 1732 hours, I responded to assist with an officer-involved <br />shooting in the area of 2nd Street and N Broadway in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange County. <br />Task: <br />Upon arrival, I was assigned to establish a perimeter using police tape at 3rd Street and N Broadway. I set up the <br />perimeter to block southbound traffic approaching the scene from the intersection of 3rd Street and N Broadway. I <br />utilized clearly labeled yellow police tape, road flares and distinctly marked Santa Ana Police vehicles to block traffic. I <br />maintained the roadblock until I was relieved at 0100 hours. I exited the scene at 0100 hours. <br />This concludes my involvement in the incident. <br />Officer F.
