Upon arrival to the Santa Ana Police Department, the following items were placed in dry locker #2 until dry. Evidence <br />marker #14; Black ³SHAKA WEAR´t-shirt with red stains, black ³PRO USA´zip-up hoodie with red stains, dark <br />blue ³SHAKA WEAR´t-shirt with red stains, white tank top with red stains. Evidence marker #17; white sock with red <br />stains and white ³Adidas´shoe with red stains. Evidence marker #18; dark blue ³Ben Davis´pants with red stains, <br />black ³Ferrato´wallet/ yellow ³CRKT´switch blade/ ID card, and black ³PRO CLUB´athletic short with red stains. <br />In the Forensic Services Section of the Santa Ana Police Department, I further processed evidence marker #1-12. I <br />determined six evidence items (Evidence markers #1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10) were ³A USA 9mm Luger´cartridge cases and <br />six evidence items (Evidence markers #4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12) were ³WINCHESTER 45 Auto´cartridge cases. <br />I processed all cartridge cases (Evidence markers #1-12) for fingerprints using black powder and did not locate any <br />latent fingerprints. <br />Two biological swabs were collected from the cartridge cases; one swab from the ³WINCHESTER 45 Auto´cartridge <br />cases (Evidence markers #4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12) and another swab from the ³A USA 9mm Luger´cartridge cases <br />(Evidence markers #1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10). <br />Evidence markers #1-12, 13, 15, 19 and 20 were packaged as evidence, sealed/ initialed, booked in as evidence and <br />into an evidence locker. <br />Evidence marker #16 was packaged as evidence, sealed/ initialed, booked in as evidence and into the money <br />mailbox. <br />The biological swabs collected from the cartridge cases were packaged, sealed/ initialed, booked in as evidence and <br />into an evidence freezer. <br />During my investigation, my department issued AXON 3 body worn camera was activated and recording at certain <br />points in the investigation. <br />All 175 photographs were uploaded into DIMS.
