The system allows the City to import data from a variety of City <br /> applications and make that data available to users for reporting and analysis. As a data <br /> warehousing solution, it can also be used to archive historical City data from <br /> applications that will no longer be utilized. There are no restrictions on the number of <br /> end-users that may access the system or with the number of applications and amount of <br /> data that can be added to the system. <br /> The Simpler Platform is currently being used to archive data for several applications that <br /> are planned to sunset, including the City's financial system, human resources system, <br /> and land management system. The tool also has data management tools that allow it to <br /> be utilized to streamline the data migration from older applications to newer applications <br /> during the implementation process. <br /> The City is requesting a five-year agreement in order to lock in the annual subscription <br /> cost. As per the City's standard agreement terms, the agreement may be terminated at <br /> any time with a 30-day advanced notice. <br /> Santa Ana Municipal Code, Section 2-807(a), authorizes the City to make non-bid <br /> purchases of services, supplies, materials, and equipment whenever it shall appear that <br />
