(Agreement No. A-2026-XXX) <br /> GOVERNMENT CODE 484308 APPLIES: Yes <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The Housing Authority is in the process of reconfiguring and modernizing its public- <br /> facing office space to improve customer service delivery, staff efficiency, and <br /> compliance with current safety and accessibility standards. The project includes the <br /> procurement and installation of modular workstations, private offices, conference room <br /> furnishings, reception and lobby furniture, and related fixtures. The existing furniture has <br /> exceeded its useful life, does not support current technology needs, and limits efficient <br /> space utilization. The purchase of new furniture will improve workflow, enhance <br /> confidentiality for client interactions, and support a professional and welcoming <br /> environment for Housing Authority program participants. <br /> Toward that end, Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 25-127A was issued on December <br /> 18, 2025 on the City's online bid management and publication system. A summary of <br /> vendor participation and results is as follows: <br /> 429 Vendors notified <br /> 7 Santa Ana Vendors notified <br /> 39 Vendors downloaded the RFP packet <br /> 3 Responsive proposals received <br /> 0 Responsive proposals received from Santa Ana vendors <br />
