S.A. 12‐022 <br />Investigator: ANDREW ROSS Approved By: <br />Date of Report: 09/11/12 Date:09/17/12 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />rear parking area of 3005 South Bristol Street, which was located on the south side of West <br />Segerstrom Avenue. <br /> who was looking out of the hotel room window, alerted that there was <br />something suspicious taking place in the parking area behind 3005 South Bristol Street. <br /> responded to the window and observed a silver Jeep parked behind the building, <br />facing northbound towards the hotel. could not see any occupants inside the Jeep at <br />that time. <br /> recognized the vehicle as a vehicle she and had seen earlier the <br />previous day in the parking lot of the hotel. The vehicle was occupied by a male subject that <br />appeared to be under the influence of drugs. The subject laughed an evil laugh at <br />and as they left their vehicle in the parking lot. recalled the first four digits of <br />the Jeeps license plate as being <br />Next to the vehicle, against the east wall of the building, could see a male <br />subject in a wheelchair, who was later identified as . was <br />familiar with and knew him by the nickname , since he was known for <br />dealing illegal drugs in the area. was aware that frequented the area behind <br />3005 South Bristol Street to sell drugs. <br /> asked to call the police. refused, stating she was tired, and <br />provided with her cell phone, which contained the non‐emergency telephone number for <br />the Santa Ana Police Department (SAPD). called the non‐emergency SAPD telephone <br />number and reported the suspicious activity. enlightened the call taker to the possibility <br />that the sale of illegal drugs might be involved, since he was also familiar with illegal drug sales <br />regularly taking place at that location.
