The police officer stopped and began to approach ALMANZA in a <br />northwesterly direction. The police officer approached within approximately 10 feet of <br />ALMANZA, then backed off. The police officer had his gun drawn at that time. <br /> watched the scene as approximately 20 police patrol units arrived to assist. <br /> did not see any of the police officers have physical contact with ALMANZA. <br />estimated the closest any of the police officers approached ALMANZA was 15 feet. <br />Although recognized the Jeep as the vehicle she had seen earlier the previous <br />day, she was unable to identify ALMANZA as the same subject she had seen inside the vehicle <br />at that time. <br /> advised that had video recorded a portion of the incident using her <br />laptop. provided consent to SAPD Detective GUS MOROYOQUI to obtain a copy of <br />the video from the laptop. A copy of the video was later obtained at MOROYOQUIs direction. <br />During the interview, described her observations using an overhead <br />photograph of the location. Notes were made on the photograph to document <br />observations. A copy of the photograph is attached at the end of this report.
