SA 12‐022 <br />Investigator: ANDREW ROSS Approved By: <br />Date of Report: 10/04/12 Date:10/10/12 <br />Page 18 of 76 <br />that I had  to work with and think very, very quickly.  The only <br />thing that drove me to make the decision that I did  and take the <br />action that I did  were everything that the suspect dictated.  You <br />wanna  run, run.  You wanna throw some drugs, go.  You want <br />throw a weapon, throw a  weapon.  When he took that position of <br />advantage for him knowing where I was, in police uniform, in a <br />police car, I knew right there he was in for a fight. <br />(PAUSE)/(SHUFFLING) So the backup arrived, the car was cleared, <br />no outstanding subjects or suspects.  No more shots were fired <br />and, um, the scene was stabilized  and everybody did what they <br />were supposed to do. <br />ROSS: Okay. Then you were transported  back to the station at that time <br />orࡕ <br />ENRIQUEZ: With, within minutes, yes. <br />ROSS: Okay, okay, alright ࡕ (SHUFFLING) Okay, DAVID, thank you, quite, <br />it’s quite thorough, umࡕ (PAUSE) I’m gonna, I took a  couple of ࡕ <br />*** <br />MOROYOQUI: Yeah. <br />ROSS: I, I took a couple of overheads here with me. Umࡕ <br />ENRIQUEZ: Sure. <br />ROSS: You can choose either or, uh, this is obviously Segerstrom, Bristol <br />is over here, were going north, south. <br />ENRIQUEZ: I see. I understand.
