Burke from the Orange County Crime Lab coordinated the documentation and <br />collection of the evidence. Forensic Specialist J. Tran along with Forensic Specialist K. Cogert, Forensic <br />Specialist S. Moore and Forensic Specialist L. Camacho from the Orange County Crime Lab assisted <br />Forensic Scientist Burke with the processing of the crime scene. Refer to Forensic Scientist Burke's <br />C.S.I. report under Forensic Report 13-48764 for further information. <br />Weather and Lighting: <br />The weather condition at 0800 hours was partly cloudy, slightly windy with a temperature of <br />approximately 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The weather information was obtained from the AccuWeather <br />website. At the time of my arrival, 1045 hours, the ground was dry and there was ample lighting <br />provided by the sun. <br />Scene: <br />The scene was located in the east alley of 805 S. Townsend Street, City of Santa Ana, County of <br />Orange, California. The crime scene was protected by yellow crime scene tape securing the north <br />portion of the east alley at 701 S. Townsend Street. The south portion of the east alley at 825 S. <br />Townsend Street was secured by crime scene tape. There was also crime scene tape securing the east <br />and west sides of the alley. There were Santa Ana Police Officers positioned at the north, south, east and <br />west perimeters. <br />The east alley of 805 S. Townsend Street is a two-way, north/south, asphalt paved road. There are no <br />marked lanes for north/south traffic. The speed limit in the alley is 10mph. Monta Vista A venue is to the <br />north of the a lley. Monta Vista is a two-way, two-lane, east/west, asphalt paved road with single family <br />residential homes on the north side and apartment complexes on the south side.
