ARELLANO then reached into his <br />pocket as if he was reaching for a gun. got back into his car and again tried to back out <br />of the drive thru again. As was backing out, his car hit ARELLANO and ARELLANO fell off <br />his bicycle. was able to drive away without further incident. did not report the <br />incident to the police. described ARELLANO as a male Hispanic, with short hair, and <br />“tattoos” on his knuckles. <br /> never had contact with ARELLANO prior to the incident. Shortly, after the <br />shooting incident involving ARELLANO, was watching a local news channel broadcast <br />while he was admitted to the Veteran’s Hospital in Long Beach. recognized that the <br />subject who confronted him in the McDonalds Restaurant drive thru was the same subject who <br />was shot by the SAPD at Jugo’s La Tropicana juice bar.
