EXHIBIT 2 <br /> Working Wardrobes <br /> Work Experience (WEX) Policy Guide <br /> Effective 7/1/2025 <br /> Purpose <br /> Working Wardrobes offers learning opportunities through Work Experience (WEX) to <br /> support participants in building practical skills and confidence in a real-world work setting. <br /> WEX is designed for individuals with limited work history, employment gaps, or financial <br /> instability,and complements our Job &Career Support services while participants continue <br /> their active job search. <br /> Work Experience activities may include: <br /> • Internships and job shadowing. <br /> • On-the-job training opportunities. <br /> WEX services are provided in accordance with active grant contracts,which define <br /> eligibility,target populations, and applicable program regulations and guidelines <br /> Participant Compensation and Available Hours <br /> Participants engaged in WEX shall be compensated at minimum California minimum wage <br /> or more depending on funding availability. <br /> Participants will complete an average of approximately 240 hours of Work Experience <br /> (WEX),unless otherwise specified by the applicable contract or funding requirements. <br /> Allowable Expenditures <br /> If contract allows funds may be used to pay wages and staffing costs for the development <br /> and management of work experience. <br /> Allowable expenditures beyond wages may include the following: <br /> • Staff time spent identifying potential work experience opportunities. <br /> • Staff time working with employers to develop the work experience. <br /> • Staff time spent working with employers to ensure a successful work experience. <br /> • Staff time spent evaluating the work experience. <br /> • Classroom training or the required academic education component is directly <br /> related to the work experience. <br /> • Orientation sessions for participants and employers. <br />
