However, there are consistently vehicles
parking right up against my car or within the red curb zone near my residence to make it seem
they are not on red. This happens repeatedly, and it appears there is little to no enforcement.
Because of this, I am sometimes unable to safely exit my parking space in
the mornings when I need to leave for work. It creates a very tight and
unsafe situation, and at times I feel completely blocked in.
It is very frustrating to follow the rules and go out of my way to park legally, while others
repeatedly ignore them without consequence. This ongoing issue is affecting my daily routine and
quality of life.
I am requesting that the city please evaluate this area for possible solutions, such as extending the
red curb, repainting it for better visibility, or increasing parking enforcement or placing a
permanent pole or cone where residents can't park beyond that.
I would appreciate any assistance or guidance you can provide. I am happy to provide photos or
additional details.
Thank you !
Sincerely,
Andrea
Pine & Cypress ( cross streets)
i
