Narrative: Narrative <br />MONDAY March 11th, 2019 ± Hours: <br />I received a telephone message from Santa Ana Police Homicide Sergeant J. Rodriguez #2836 in regards <br />to an Officer Involved Shooting that just occurred in the city of Santa Ana. Sergeant Rodriguez requested I <br />respond to the area of 1800 S Cedar Street, Santa Ana, and assist with the investigation. <br />2245 Hours: <br />I entered the crime scene and checked in with Officer J. Peralta #3602, the crime scene scribe. <br />2325 Hours: <br />I attended a briefing conducted by Sergeant O. Lizardi #2629. Investigators from the Orange County District <br />Attorney¶s Office were also present during the briefing. <br />Sergeant Lizardi advised Santa Ana Police Gang Detectives and Orange County Probation Officers were <br />conducting a patrol check in the area of 1800 S Evergreen Street. Cpl. D. Alcala #3226 and Detective G. <br />Bodnar #3337 were in the area of 1800 S. Cedar Street when the suspect fired several rounds at them. <br />Detective E. Solorio #3249 observed the suspect in the west alley of 1800 S. Evergreen Street and a foot <br />pursuit ensued which resulted in an Officer Involved Shooting. The suspect was taken into custody in the <br />west alley of Evergreen Street, 1818 S. Evergreen Street. A firearm was found near the suspect. The <br />suspect was identified as Oscar Alvarado, DELHI gang member. <br />At the conclusion of the briefing, I was assigned with canvassing duties and partnered with Orange County <br />District Attorney Investigator D.
