11. SUMMARY OF RESOURCES AND DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS <br />HUD requires that the <br />City identify the federal <br />funds that were made <br />available during the <br />report period that <br />were used to further <br />the objectives of the <br />City's Consolidated <br />Plan. The City must <br />also outline how these <br />funds were committed <br />and expended. Based on 2008 Census Bureau race /ethnicity estimates, <br />Santa Ana is over 80% Hispanic /Latino; this population reside throughout the City. The second <br />largest minority population in Santa Ana is Asian, which comprise approximately 9% of the <br />City's population. Asian households are mainly concentrated in the City's west -side and South- <br />end areas.
