Lss/jwf08/30/10 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2010-043 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE PERMIT <br />PARKING FEE AND REPEALING IN PART <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2010-023 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby, finds, determines and declares as <br />follows: <br />A. On June 7, 2010, the City Council adopted a Miscellaneous Fee <br />Schedule to collect, in a single comprehensive document, a listing <br />of fees and service charges imposed by the City upon that limited <br />number of persons seeking services of value from the City; and <br />B. The City Council finds in regard to the Permit Parking District <br />application fee, adopted by Resolution 2010-023: <br />1. The fee increase will substantially impact residents in Permit <br />Parking Districts. <br />2. The adoption of a single bi-annual fee program <br />maintains continuity with past fee renewal cycles; and <br />C. On June 21, 2010, the City Council amended Resolution No. 2010- <br />023, to set the Adult Soccer Reservation Surcharge at Fourteen <br />Dollars ($14.00) per game; and <br />D. The City Council finds that imposing the Adult Soccer Reservation <br />Surcharge on a per game basis at this time, imposes a substantial <br />burden on the adult soccer organizations. <br />Section 2: The Permit Parking District renewal program shall be <br />administered on a bi-annual basis. The annual Residential Parking Permit <br />Program is eliminated. <br />Section 3: The bi-annual Permit Parking District application fee is <br />hereby adopted as follows: <br />Resolution No. 2010-043 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
