CONCLUSION OF LANDSCAPE STANDARDS DISCUSSION <br />(Continued by Planning Commission: September 10, 2007 to September 24, 2007; <br />September 24, 2007 to October 8, 2007) <br />Landscape Development Associate Marvin Ellenbecker reviewed the resources <br />used by the Planning Division during review of landscape plans, various sections <br />of the Santa Ana Municipal Code and specific documents having their own set of <br />standards. <br />Commission appointed Commissioners Betancourt and Munoz to the Ad Hoc <br />Committee to review the landscape guidelines, make recommendations, and <br />provide photographic examples for the projects and report back to the <br />Commission. <br />1. Staff Comments <br />Associate Planner Lucy Linnaus provided an update of the Santa Ana <br />Renaissance Specific Plan, reviewed the timeline for the public outreach efforts <br />and scheduled a discussion for the Planning Commission on November 13, <br />2007. <br />Mr. Kaufman announced the AB1234 training schedules for the commissioners <br />that have not completed the training.
