• <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-41 <br />kdo/11 /27/02 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. <br />2002-27 TO ALLOW A TRADE/PROFESSIONAL <br />SCHOOL AT 1901 EAST FOURTH STREET, SUITE <br />260 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, <br />determines and declares as follows: <br />A. The Mitigated Negative Declaration and Monitoring Program, <br />Environmental Review No. 2002-212 and Conditional Use Permit No. <br />2002-27 came before the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana <br />for a duly noticed public hearing on December 9, 2002. <br />• <br />B. Conditional Use Permit No. 2002-27 has been filed with the City of Santa <br />Ana seeking to allow the operation of a trade/professional school within <br />the Professional (P) zoning district. Pursuant to Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code Section 41-313.5(c) Trade and professional schools are permitted in <br />the Professional zoning district, subject to the issuance of a Conditional <br />Use Permit. <br />C. Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 41-638 authorizes the Planning <br />Commission to grant a conditional use permit upon making certain <br />findings. <br />Will the proposed use provide a service or facility which will <br />contribute to the general well being of the neighborhood or <br />community? <br />The proposed trade/professional school facility, as <br />conditioned, will contribute to the general well being of the <br />neighborhood and the community by providing an additional <br />educational opportunity for residents and local businesses <br />requiring computer software training. <br />• <br />2. Will the proposed use under the circumstances of the particular <br />case be detrimental to the health, safety, or general welfare of <br />persons residing or working in the vicinity? <br />Resolution No. 2002-41 <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />
