Public comments in support of the project wer <br />Chamber of Commerce, Jon Gothold, DGWB <br />Shawna Smith, Taller San Jose, and Stefani Nu <br />Chairman Mondo closed the public hearing. <br />e received from: Michael Metzler, Santa Ana <br />Advertising, Ferres Scott, Laguna resident, <br />er, real estate agent. <br />Commission discussion continued regarding the location of public art, proposed land uses, <br />raised platform, landscaping, fences, paving, front window treatments and mitigation <br />measures. <br />Planning Manager noted clarifications on Condition 4A page 1 of 6 that require landscape <br />improvements within designated timeframe plans. He proposed adding, "This shall not <br />apply to the models within the first phase". Same sentence will apply to Condition 5 page 1 <br />of 2 of the Tentative Tract Map Conditions. <br />Motion to: <br />Recommend that the City Council: <br />• Approve and adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation <br />Monitoring Program, Environmental Report No. 2003-182. <br />• Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2004-03 as <br />conditioned. <br />• Adopt an ordinance approving Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 2004-01. <br />• Adopt a resolution approving Site Plan Review No. 2004-01. <br />• Adopt a resolution approving Tentative Tract Map No. 2004-01 (County Map No. <br />16558) as conditioned. <br />• Amendments to be included as conditions of approval or in the CC&Rs <br />provided by staff.
