<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> EXHIBIT 1-A <br /> <br /> SANTA ANA REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION CENTER <br /> <br /> The Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center (SARTC) is located at 1000 East Santa Ana Boulevard. The <br /> facility covers 6.75 acres and contains a 47,000-square-foot terminal, two surface parking lots with a total of 282 <br /> spaces, and one four-story parking structure with 423 spaces. A three-story pedestrian bridge takes travelers to <br /> the east train platform. <br /> <br /> <br /> Tenants include Amtrak, Greyhound Lines, Crucero, Transportes Intercalifornias, Tres Estrellas de Oro, County <br /> of Orange Social Services Program, State of California EDD, the City of Santa Ana Work Center, a cafe, and a <br /> gift shop. Over one million travelers use the SARTC each year. The SARTC contains approximately 35,000 <br /> square feet of rental space, plus a five-story theme tower that includes small meeting/conference rooms on the 4th <br /> and 5th floors. <br /> <br /> I. SCOPE <br /> Twenty-four- (24-) hour security officer coverage that includes an electronic guard tour system, seven (7) days <br /> per week with holidays included will be required as follows: <br /> <br /> Ist Shift Midnight to 8:00 a.m. 1 security officer <br /> 2nd Shift 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 1 security officer <br /> 3`d Shift 4:00 p.m. to Midnight 1 security officer <br /> <br /> Overlap shifts 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 1 security officer <br /> 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 1 security officer <br /> <br /> Post commander Eight- (8-) hour shift, five (5) days per week. Shift times and days to be <br /> determined by SARTC Management. <br /> <br /> The following dates will be considered holidays by the City of Santa Ana and will be paid as such: <br /> <br /> New Year's Day Labor Day <br /> Memorial Day Thanksgiving Day <br /> Independence Day Christmas Day <br /> <br /> <br /> II. RESPONSIBILITY OF CONTRACTOR <br /> Provide a post management system that includes efficient mechanisms for tour verification, daily activity reports <br /> (DARs), and incident reporting (IR). This system must be complete with a reliable computer equipped with <br /> Internet access, Microsoft Office, a printer, downloader, and any other equipment needed to make the post <br /> commander successful in leading and monitoring the security cadre. The system will be housed in the Property <br /> Management office. <br /> <br /> Provide fully trained personnel with a high degree of tolerance and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with <br /> the public in a courteous manner. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> EXHIBIT 1 1 <br /> 25B-3 <br />
